Howdy! My name is Peyton Hale. I'm a skilled graphic designer with experience working across a diverse range of design mediums—including web, digital, social, branding, print, motion, and pretty much anything I can get my mitts on.

How does being queer inform your work?

Being queer is a core part of my identity both as a person and as a designer. It helps me better think outside of the box, as I'm looking for ways to challenge and change the visual status quo. Queer culture has, for all of history, had a powerful voice in visual tastemaking and pushing the boundaries, and I'm proud to bring that energy into my day-to-day work.

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

I'm consistently inspired and excited by queer film and television—everything from comedy to horror.

Which other queer people inspire you?

I'm inspired every day by my immediate queer friends and loved ones, including my incredible partner. Many of them are creatives in their own right, and their work inspires me to keep creating.
