Pablo is a Chicago-based freelance designer specializing in branding, marketing, web design, and motion graphics. Since launching his freelance career right after college in 2020, he’s worked for startups, small businesses, and national brands.

How does being queer inform your work?

Inside and outside the studio, I wear it on my sleeve, and I think my perspective as a queer individual often brings a fresh perspective to heteronormative spaces.

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

Easy. My favorite queer artist of all time is Frida Khalo!

Which other queer people inspire you?

Queer culture is so diverse that is hard to choose, but I think when it comes to queerness informing art, Ocean Vuong's literary work is very inspiring to me.
